Director, Steve McAdams - smcadams@endeavorcharter.com: Steve McAdams is a veteran teacher with over 37 years experience teaching students in grades 6 – college. He has also coached recreational and high school soccer for 22 years. His involvement in charter schools began several years ago when he co-wrote the educational plan for a charter school in Curriculum Coordinator, Christi Whiteside - cwhiteside@endeavorcharter.com: Christi Whiteside has served in public, private, and charter schools during her years of teaching. She has taught preschool through 5th grade in a variety of settings. Christi was also involved in writing the educational plan for a Curriculum Coordinator, Melissa Dougherty- mdougherty@endeavorcharter.com: Melissa Dougherty has previously taught the NC Standard Course of Study for seven years. Her last teaching position was as a fifth grade teacher here at Endeavor. She is originally from New York. Her Bachelors Degree is in Interdisciplinary Art for Children and her Masters Degree is in Elementary Education. Teacher Services Coordinator, Maija McAdams- mmcadams@endeavorcharter.com Maija McAdams has served in both teaching and administrative roles throughout her career in education. She has a B.A. in Elementary Education from UNC and also holds a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. Maija was also involved in writing the educational plan for a Durham charter school and she is a founder and co-writer of Endeavor’s entire educational plan.
