Annual Fund FAQ's
Why is The ECS Annual Fund important?
Every year, your gift to The ECS Annual Fund is an investment in your child’s education. The Annual Fund will ensure that we can keep our small class size, while maintaining the high quality of our successful program. Endeavor has successfully created a learning community where our students are challenged each day, encouraged to think creatively and empowered to learn by doing - and the Annual Fund will support the activities that make that possible.
Where does my donation go?
The ECS Annual Fund will provide ECS with essential resources for our community to support our core values, by providing student-centered activities, support professional growth for our teachers, as well as opportunities for community building. Your gift will directly impact our current year’s budget, and will help fund areas such as:
- Technology
- Classroom Software
- General Operations
- Teacher Training & Development
- School Playgrounds
- Classroom Enhancements
Who should give to The ECS Annual Fund?
Our goal is to reach 100% family participation, so we ask all parents of current students to give to the ECS Annual Fund. We are very grateful for gifts from grandparents, corporations, alumni families and friends of our school community.
What amount should I give?
We respect that everyone will be able to contribute at a level that is comfortable for them, and that will vary from family to family, and year to year. Each and every gift makes a difference, it is the collective of the ECS community that we rely on. We hope each family will consider making an annual donation to The ECS Annual Fund a priority as it is an investment in your child’s educational foundation.
How can I give?
Gifts may be made by cash, check, or by setting up an automated payment through your bank. We can also accept credit/debit cards with Paypal. Keep in mind that your employer may match your gift, please see our list of employers, or check with your Human Resources contact at your company.
Is my gift to Endeavor Charter School tax deductible?
Endeavor Charter School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and all donations to The ECS Annual Fund are tax deductible for the tax year that the gift is made.
Are the additional opportunities to support the school?
Of course! Endeavor Charter School depends greatly on the generosity of our community, be it through volunteering, enjoying an ECS Event or participating in the passive fundraising like TerraCycle. Here are a few of PAWS fundraising efforts that happen throughout the year:
- Cafe Days
- School Yearbook
- Amazon Smile
- Book Fair
- Terracycle
- The Giving Tree
