Endeavor Charter School is looking for the following positions for the 2017-2018 School Year:

    Long term Substitute – Exceptional Children teacher for grades 4-8
    The Exceptional Children substitute will work on a push in and pull out basis with small groups of students in grades 4-8. This is a full time position from 8:05-3:45 Monday through Friday. The anticipated start date is mid-February and the leave is anticipated to run through the end of the school year on June 8.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
     promptly arriving to student location
     providing student support and practice in areas of special identification need
     collaborating with the grade level and subject area teams
     supporting the student through the educational goals
     adapting plans based on student need
     performing other duties as needed
     carpool duty most afternoons

    Basic Qualifications:
     Currently or previously NC certified in Exceptional Children required (out of state EC certification will be considered)
     Experience teaching in elementary and/or middle school is preferred

    Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
     Strong knowledge of literacy and mathematics
     Knowledge of assessment strategies
     Strong oral and written communication skills
     Effective interpersonal skills
