All of our classes incorporate Morning Meeting into their daily routine. Morning Meeting is a strategy that builds community and creates a climate of trust. It motivates children by addressing two human needs: the need to feel significant and the need to have fun. It has been shown to increase students' confidence and enhance their readiness to learn. A purpose of Morning meeting is to develop students to be strong learners; students who can listen well, who can ask good questions, and who can see a situation from more than one perspective. 

Morning Meeting is comprised of four essential components: Greeting, Sharing, Group Activity, and News & Announcements. These components work together to make our school community one that is safe and respectful, while being intellectually challenging,  to all students.
