Elementary Science

Endeavor Charter School was developed with the idea that students learn best by doing. Our science program focuses on hands-on labs and experimental learning. All grades at Endeavor Charter School follow the NC Essential Standards for Science, which focus on a balance of science content knowledge and scientific thinking processes. All grades teach a combination of topics from the disciplines of physical, earth and life sciences. Physical science topics include Matter, Energy, Forces and Motion. Earth Science includes Earth in the Universe, Earth History and Earth Systems, Structures and Processes. Life Science includes Structures and Functions of Living Organisms, Ecosystems, Molecular Biology and Evolution and Genetics.
