ECS Pride in Service Distinction

Endeavor Charter School believes community service is an essential part of developing leadership, character, and citizenship in our students. Through meaningful service experiences, middle school students learn the value of compassion, responsibility, teamwork, communication, and giving back to others. Community involvement supports Endeavor’s mission of preparing students to become confident leaders, critical thinkers, and engaged members of their communities. The ECS Pride in Service Distinction Program recognizes students who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to serving others throughout their middle school years.

Students who elect to participate in the ECS Pride in Service Distinction Program accumulate community service hours throughout their entire middle school experience at Endeavor Charter School. Service hours earned each year are added to the student’s cumulative total, allowing students to build toward higher levels of recognition as they progress through middle school. At the conclusion of their middle school years, students will be recognized based on the total number of verified service hours they have completed. This cumulative approach encourages students to make community service an ongoing commitment and to develop a lasting habit.

Bronze

25-49 hours

Silver

50-89 hours

Gold

90-149 hours

Platinum

150+ hours

Community service is about more than accumulating hours or receiving recognition. Families are encouraged to help students find meaningful opportunities that connect with their interests, talents, and the needs of their community. Whether a student ultimately earns Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum distinction, the larger goal is for every Endeavor student to experience the value of service.

Directions for Submitting Hours

Current Hours

Students who have completed Community Service hours between June 2026 and the present day must use the Endeavor Community Service Form. All hours must be submitted at the end of each academic year.

Old Hours and/or New Students with Previously Earned Hours

The ECS Pride in Service Distinction will launch in August 2026. We recognize that students may have completed service hours prior to sharing this information and may therefore want to apply “old” hours to this distinction.  Good news - students can!

Students new to ECS will have the fall semester to turn in hours they earned prior to beginning at ECS using the “Old Hours” Community Service Form. Any hours turned in during the spring semester, beginning in early January, must use the Endeavor Community Service Form. No hours previously earned by a new student will be accepted in the new semester.
