We do not offer tours of the school unless you are offered a seat in the lottery. You will be offered a private tour when you are offered a seat. We will hold a public open house in order for you to view the school on Saturday, January 21st, from 9:00-10:00 am. You do not need to register to attend the open house.

Our lottery will be held at 1:00 pm on March 7th, 2023. The results of the lottery will not be known right away as we must go through a verification process with our 3rd party lottery vendor. Results of the lottery will be available to view on Lotterease.com by 3:00 pm on March 7th, 2023.

    LITERACY AT HOME
    Digital Children's Reading Initiative (DCRI)
The NCDPI Office of Early Learning created a digital bank of literacy activities for families and the community.   It is designed to assist families in cultivating confident, proficient, lifelong readers by providing free tools and resources that can be easily incorporated into everyday life.  The DCRI is organized first by grade level, prek-5th grade. Then it is organized by literacy skill; phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and oral language. Each skill page is then organized by a definition of the skill, a video of what the skill looks like, practice activities that require no materials, printable practice activities, and online activities. There is also an Online Libraries section.

Use the links below for more information and to access the digital literacy activities for your child.
